Trueheart Events is a full service entertainment marketing firm specializing in special events, talent outreach, strategic marketing and public relations campaigns. The company is the new venture of Amy Malin, the Founder and President of the highly successful firm In 2 It Media, under which she produced thousands of memorable events and created hundreds of press-worthy marketing and PR campaigns during the company's 16 year history.
Amy Malin began her career in the entertainment industry at the age of 12, hosting an FM radio show for two years and writing, producing and hosting an AM talk show for two years on South Florida radio. Amy was a natural born leader at an early age and served as President of her class and also won the prestigious Silver Knight award for Communication honoring her academic achievements, successful speech and debate career and her commitment to community service.
Incredibly, while hosting her own radio show at such a young age, Amy also had a successful career in Extemporaneous Speaking and Original Oratory, winning hundreds of awards at the state and national level and debating at the most prestigious college campuses across the country.
During these years, Amy also found her passion for giving back and helping those who are less fortunate in her community. After reading an article in her local newspaper about the plight of the homeless in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale while in 7th grade, she created the "Washing at The 'Y'" program. Amy organized a drive in which she collected toiletries and enough money to purchase a washer and dryer for the local YMCA so that the homeless population in her community could have a safe place to shower and get ready for job interviews. This experience was life changing, but she wanted to do more to help the homeless.
So, she wrote, edited, produced and hosted an award winning documentary called "Welcome to Utopia" in which she interviewed homeless people from all walks of life and told their stories through their eyes. The documentary was used for years to come as a fundraising tool for the YMCA and helped educate the community about the poverty in their own backyard.
Amy then studied radio & television broadcasting at the University of Miami and donated her Spring Break to volunteer in New York at The Momentum AIDS Project and at In God's Love We Deliver, two very special organizations that prepare and deliver nutritious meals to home bound patients living with HIV and AIDS.
This was another pivotal experience for Amy in which she realized she could find ways to use her talents, influence and experience to give back to those less fortunate. She realized that by connecting high profile celebrities with non-profits at red carpet events, she could raise awareness and money to help a wide variety of important causes.
Amy then worked for a PR firm representing Tiffany & Co., Salvatore Ferragamo and The Coffee Beanery by day and at night she was hosting parties at the hottest nightclubs in South Beach. She created an awareness and fundraising campaign for Jackson Memorial Hospital's "Project Cradle", an organization that takes care of babies living with HIV & AIDS, and produced a couture fashion show for the grand opening of South Beach hotspot Shadowlounge with 100% of the proceeds going to the charity.
She also designed a black velvet baseball cap with a red ribbon embroidered on the front which she inspired tens of thousands of people in Miami to wear in support of AIDS Awareness. This fashion statement was another successful fundraising tool for Project Cradle. Later that year, she produced a star studded golf tournament during Super Bowl Weekend with all of the proceeds benefitting a skin cancer research foundation at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Amy then moved to New York and started In 2 It Media, a full service entertainment marketing firm with a focus on utilizing her star-studded red carpet events to shine a spotlight on important causes while raising money and awareness for non-profits in the process.
During In 2 It Media's 16 year run, Amy produced some of the most high profile Hollywood parties and charity benefits, helping to raise tens of millions of dollars for worthy causes such as Pediatric AIDS, Cancer Research, Hurricane Katrina Relief, Music Education, Domestic Violence, Youth Empowerment, Homelessness, The Environment and Animal Rescue.
In 2 It Media's clients included Ludacris, Jessica Biel's Make The Difference Network, Kanye West, Missy Elliott, Good Charlotte, Hoobastank, Patti Labelle, Def Jam, SPIN, Rollingstone, Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, Free The Slaves, The Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, Orange County Performing Arts Center, Se San Diego Hotel, Life Changing Lives, United Jewish Appeal, The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Orange County, Flaunt Magazine, Jacob The Jeweler, Nintendo, Bacardi and Coca-Cola.
One of Amy's proudest moments was the campaign she created to support Childrens Hospital Los Angeles where she produced a very special holiday party for the patients of CHLA and their families where they were able to enjoy a beautiful holiday experience. The following week she produced a red carpet Holiday Party at Social Hollywood where she shared the stage with Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel and Kevin James to co-host a live auction that helped raise over $200,000 for the hospital.
Amy decided to rebrand her company to a name that embodied her philosophy of giving back and Trueheart Events was born. Trueheart Events is known around the world for planning fabulous parties with a purpose and always from the heart. Amy is a party planning, marketing and public relations expert who loves to apply her time, talent and expertise to making the world a better place any way she can.
The two best days of Amy’s life are the day she married her amazing husband Scott in Tuscany and the day their beautiful son Maxwell was born.
